Northstar-at-Tahoe
Sunday 2 December 1990

Weather

Warm and sunny.

Conditions

Early season, mostly man made snow. Two lifts, plus the gondola open. Run down to the village closed.

Overall

Another great day!

After some discussion with the people at the ski hire shop, we decided to try Northstar, where there was reputed to be a 2 mile run open. It was not quite that way, but there was a much longer run, Lumberjack/Mail Street than at Alpine.

This may not have offered Dean and James much of a challenge, but is was something new for me. It gave me the opportunity to practice the things I learned the day before and importantly to relax and recover without stopping skiing, culminating on one non stop run from top to bottom.

Intermediate Runs

Lumberjack
Main Street

Runs

Lift Vertical
